Named as one of the 10 Best Beaches in the World by Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, Crane Beach has a very big reputation to live up to. But as the picture to the right can attest, the reputation is well earned.

Located on the south coast of Barbados, Crane Beach is a dizzingly beautiful expanse of white powdery sand that stretches into the horizon and makes you wish that you never had to leave.

Depending on wind direction, Crane Beach can subject to sizeable waves and currents which can be great if you are wanting to bodysurf or boogie-board but those who are not strong swimmers should exercise caution and be mindful of any lifeguard advisories.
